Kerry Walton is a Peer Support Worker at HARP, providing lived-experience-informed, recovery-oriented support to individuals in residential Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) treatment. In his role, he offers both emotional and practical assistance, facilitates group sessions, supports relapse prevention planning, and works collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to encourage engagement and sustained recovery.
Kerry holds a Certificate IV in AOD Peer Support and is currently completing a Diploma of Counselling. His areas of focus include peer-based recovery support, relapse prevention, psychosocial support, and trauma-informed practice. Drawing on both lived experience and professional training, he supports individuals with complex needs in a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment.
